it was yesterday, I came to a presentation about ‘budaya visual’ which I translate as “visual culture” or actually it explains how the applied art and fine art, change through the ages. more or less, actually it is about art history.

the session was brought by ANTARIKSA, yes that is the real name. He is genius, like real genius. It was a really good presentation, he deliver it really well, and we can tell that he does master the stuffs.

what I love the most from this presentation is when he explain how fine art and applied art affect the civilization, or otherwise. where it pisses me most of the time, when there are a lot of people who do not take visual stuffs too lightly. it is great to know that 2 dimensional pictures, movies, 3D installations, all of them are having significant roles in human history.

I want to see the world, if you dont, it’s okay. just dont hold me back with all those negative thoughts.
